Intro
The Ellenroad Radio Club is the new name for the former Shawclough Amateur Radio Club. From February 2008 we are now located at the Ellenroad Steam Museum in Newhey, and we meet there every Monday from 7.30pm.
As well as Amateur (Ham) Radio, we also cover all other aspects of the hobby including Shortwave Listening and Scanning etc. SWLs are very welcome here, we have many in our ranks, and you don't have to hold a callsign to take part in our activities.
We're a very friendly bunch, and we welcome people of all ages and levels of experience, from old hands to absolute beginners, and new members and visitors are more than welcome.
