Crescent Community Radio will be back on air - this time for the Blessed Month of Rabi ul Awwal (the first spring) with a NEW frequency:
97.0 FM
Tune in from Lunchtime (1.00pm) Friday 31 March - Friday 14 April to listen to your local community radio station.
Talking of the programme he has planned, head of programming, Irfan Chisti, said:
"Please make a note of the new frequency and let everyone know. Our focus on this broadcast is the Blessed Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be showered upon him) who has this past year been the speculation of many in the world media. Caricatures, espression of freedom or an insulting act of the uncivil.
Tune in and listen to these and many other hotly debated programmes.
"Do you want to get to know Muhammad ? Listen to "Who is Muhammad", a special programme dedicated to the life of the blessed Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Monday to Friday from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
"Want to know more about his wives? Tune in to Womens Hour (9-11) Wed/Thurs/Fri
"Fancy a debate? Put your points of view across during "Lets Talk", daily 10pm - 11:30 pm.
"Want to get involved - ring 01706 340786."
