50 year old woman injured by shots to her house

At approximately 9.50pm on Sunday 10 October 2004, officers were called to an address in Vavasour Court in Rochdale following reports that shots had been fired at a house.

Damage was caused to the front door and the front and back downstairs windows. A large group of men were seen walking away from the property after the incident.

A 50-year-old woman, who was in the house at the time, suffered minor injuries to her stomach and was taken to the Rochdale Infirmary for treatment.

Update - 12/10/2004

Search warrants were carried out at 3 premises in Rochdale this morning, Tuesday 12 October. A 24-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, a 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences. They will be questioned throughout the day.
