The British Heart Foundation will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their most popular North West charity bike ride, which starts at Hollingworth Lake on 11 May.

Riders can choose which of the 22, 29 or 55 mile South Pennine Moors courses to complete.

The sponsored ride takes in some spectacular scenery, with the cyclists enjoying the views over Blackstone Edge, and up to the moors of East Lancashire and West Yorkshire.

The gruelling 55 mile route is sure to be a test to even the most able riders as it includes a six mile climb.

A spokesman for the British Heart Foundation said: “Whichever route you take, you’ll have fun and raise vital funds for the BHF. You’ll get a real sense of achievement as you cross the finishing line knowing you’ve completed the course and raised money for such a good cause.”

To enter visit the British Heart Foundation website or call 01925 819804 for an entry form.

Entry fees are £20 per person (over 16s) and £5 for children (aged 12-16, Bronze route only).
