New President for Rotary Club of Rochdale Eighty Six

It is all change at the top of the Rotary Club of Rochdale Eighty Six - outgoing President Irene Davidson has handed over the badge of office to new President Keith Powell. 

In her retiring speech, Irene thanked all club members for their continued support throughout the year - a year that had seen the club achieve the majority of its goals in supporting those in the community, both close to home and further afield.

Incoming President Powell said: "I am extremely proud to be taking up leadership of the club. Although the club is small in numbers, it has a very big at heart."

Keith, who originates from Sheffield, has been at the club for four "very enjoyable" years and added that he is: "looking forward to another successful year with the club, which has set a very active programme."
