Moorhouse Primary School base for Police Community Support Officer

Police Community Support Officer Steve Parker is set to start work in Milnrow amp; Newhey from his new base provided by Moorhouse Primary School this week.  There has been a slight delay whilst a phone line has been installed at the school, however, PCSO Parker can be contacted on 0161 856 1706, which is the PCSO office at Littleborough Police Station.

In the meantime, Bentgate Tenants amp; Residents Association has also offered Steve facilities at their base for the community to be able to speak directly to PCSO Parker.

Steve is an experienced PCSO who has previously worked in Bolton, and is the first of seven PCSO’s who will be starting to work in Pennines Township over the next few months. 

Chairman of Governors at Moorhouse Councillor Keith Swift said: "Moorhouse School is pleased to be supporting Steve with a base and the children are already getting used to seeing Steve around Moorhouse School.  Having a police presence on the school premises can only be a good thing."
