Police concern for missing 10-year-old

Police in Rochdale are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 10-year-old boy who has been missing since Wednesday 29 November 2006.
Sonny McDonagh (DOB 28/12/95) was with his carer on Yorkshire Street at 3pm on Wednesday afternoon when he ran away from her.
He is originally from Ayrshire but had been placed with a carer in Rochdale. It is believed that he may know people living in Rochdale but it is possible he may have attempted to return to Scotland.
Sonny is described as streetwise and has been known to approach strangers and attempt to befriend them.
He is 4ft tall, of slim build with blue eyes, short dark hair and speaks with a strong Scottish accent. At the time he went missing he was wearing a black coat, black and white tracksuit, a blue and white polo shirt and black trainers.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen Sonny since he went missing to contact police in Rochdale on 0161 856 4646 or 0161 872 5050.
UPDATE - 01/12/06
Sonny McDonagh has been found at a house in the Rochdale area.
Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
