Sunday Football League thank you to Appeal Fund donors

The Rochdale amp; District Sunday Football League Appeal Fund total stands at £1152 following the bucket collection at the Rochdale AFC game against Accrington Stanley - that raised £382. The League would like to offer sincere thanks to the club and supporters for their support.

The League is grateful to all who have contributed to the fund and would like in particular to acknowledge the generous £100 donations of Heywood amp; Middleton MP Jim Dobbin and Ellen Kay of Ellen Kay Lettings amp; Management.

League Chairman Malcolm Journeaux said: "The amount raised in just a few days is magnificent and shows the level of support grassroots football has in the town. However, we cannot rest on our laurels, with thousands of pounds of liabilities to pay off and the need to replenish reserves, we would be grateful if those who have not yet done so would consider a contribution to the Appeal Fund."
