Lesley Molseed - killer and victims families meet

The family of Lesley Molseed’s killer, Ronald Castree, have recently met with the Molseed family. Beverley Tighe and her son Nick said on the Trisha Goddard Channel Five TV show: "They took us under their wing. There was no animosity towards us. They felt sorry for us."

He also revealed his father's dark side was something he and his mother had bitter experience of as throughout his childhood he witnessed Castree violently abusing his mother.

He said of witness sing the violence: "It emotionally scarred me. There was violence towards all of us. There were regular trips to the hospital. My mum was drinking a bottle of brandy a night to numb the pain. She was drinking herself into an early grave."

Of Castree's arrest for Lesley's murder, he added: "I wasn’t surprised because I knew how sick and twisted he was. He always had an interest in girls. We’d go to a well known holiday park and his motive was to go into the swimming dome to look at the young schoolgirls."
