Police sting on Deeplish drug den

Seven people have been arrested and £300,000 of class A drugs seized in an operation by police from Rochdale and Oldham.
Police executed a warrant at a house on Grandidge Street in Deeplish, Rochdale.
Supported by officers from the Tactical Aid Unit, police searched the house and discovered a large amount of crack cocaine and heroin, estimated at being worth at least £300,000.
Several items of stolen property, including computer equipment, were also discovered in the raid.
Six people from the Rochdale area have been arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and are currently on police bail until 18 December 2007.
A seventh person, a 23-year-old man from Rochdale, has been arrested on suspicion of fraud by false pretences and has also been bailed pending further inquiries until 18 December 2007.
