More jobs lost as Robinsons Subaru goes bust
Date published: 16 December 2008
Robinsons Subaru ended its 40 year reign on Water Street by closing its doors for the last time yesterday (Monday 15 December).
Up to 25 people have lost their jobs and even the customers are losing out as promised refunds are not being given.
The administrators have been forced to lock the doors today in the face of angry customers.
The dealership becomes another victim in an increasing line of closing business in Rochdale, echoing PGC Renault’s example earlier this month, a closure which left a further 17 people unemployed. PGC Renault had been trading in Rochdale for 25 years.
Robinsons Subaru customers fearful of losing out on refunds can be assured that any payments made on credit cards can by refunded by insurance companies.
