BBC - chance to launch production career

If you've been looking for a way to launch your career in drama production, this training scheme could provide the answer. A training allowance will be paid for the duration of the scheme which will comprise of an industry placement, training and career support. Great Expectations, a training scheme, is being delivered in partnership between BBC Drama, Media Training North West, the independent TV sector and Skillset.
We are looking for a Design / Art Department Trainee and a Makeup / Hair Trainee to work on the second series of Life on Mars for BBC1. This fantastic initiative offers the ultimate opportunity for talented individuals to gain real industry experience; train on the job and develop specific skills; receive continuous support and guidance from top industry professionals, as well as the unique opportunity to actively contribute to the production of a new TV drama.
You'll be a self starter with the ability to communicate effectively with crew, artists and the public, and live in the North West. The base for the production is Manchester and you'll need to be at the location ready to start at 7am.
