Rochdale’s Historic Town Hall become the focus of attention on the 6th July 2008 when Rochdale Round Table arranges the opportunity for you to brave the 150ft drop from the clock face to raise money in aid of local charities.
The Mayor of Rochdale – Councillor Peter Evans is supporting this event by abseiling down in aid of his chosen charity Moorland Home. Rochdale Hospice, Rochdale Childer are among those that will also benefit from sponsorship, as well as our campaign to build a School in India to help lift children from poverty there.
We are currently looking for volunteers to take part in this unique experience. There has already been great interest so participation is on a first come “first abseil basis”. Numbers are limited and we would ask because of this reason, that before applying you can raise a minimum of £250. This must be paid on the day otherwise you may not be able to take part.
Terms and conditions will apply and a disclaimer on the day will need to be signed. If you wish to be part of this unique experience please email or call.
Details and sponsorship forms will then be forwarded to you. If you are unable to take part but wish to provide sponsorship then please contact us. All proceeds will be going to good causes within Rochdale.
