Lancashire and Cheshire Woodcarvers formed in 1992 and hold their monthly meetings at Spotland Methodist Church Hall, Rochdale. Find out more about woodcarving and see a great variety of work on display.

Will there really be Reindeers in Rochdale Town Centre this year?! Yes Father Christmas and his specially chosen real-life Reindeers will bring the spirit of Christmas to your town centre this year in an action-packed event designed to fill you with festive cheer.

They will be part of a grand parade making their way from the top of Yorkshire Street at 12.00pm and will be accompanied by street entertainers, a brass band playing Christmas favourites and excited children from local primary schools.

You can also come along and pet the reindeers on the Butts before the parade at 10.30am and after from 1.00pm. So for a fabulous day out come along and welcome our fabulous visitors to Rochdale!
