21 miles around the hills and valleys of Littleborough. It's quite a challenge but is fully supervised and marshalled, supported by RAYNET and St John's Ambulance.

It's OK to do just a section. There is a minibus to pick up anyone who has had enough. There are check points along the way with refreshments and loos.

There is an entry fee but walkers can be sponsored and so raise money for a charity of their choice.

Like many buildings in Rochdale St Clements’s has been stripped of lead, not once but twice.

Unfortunately the church tower is being renovated following a massive fundraising project in 2006 & 2007 and there is scaffolding in place. This invalidates the buildings insurance while also providing easy access for the thieves.

So once again the congregation is trying to raise funds, this time to replace the lead.

Come and join us on this family. Audience participation: costume / dressing up encouraged!
