Our client a leading engineering design consultancy is looking to recruit a Works Designer (TWD)/Scaffold Designer. A civil/structural/mechanical engineer with experience in steel and aluminium temporary structures, scaffolding, formwork etc. The successful candidate will be familiar with CAT 3 design certificate. The role will be to offer technical advice to clients, hands on design, preparing proof calculation and project report. The task will cover structural design of temporary structure (scaffolding) and regular site visits. The ideal candidate should be converse with AutoCAD, be familiar with British Standard such as BS5950, BS8118 etc. and have excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work within a team environment.
